As I introduced various American friends to the French world cup team, I always began by introducing Zidane, France's captain as the "Michael Jordan" of soccer. Apparently I was wrong.
Today's display from Zizou was incredibly disappointing. This is a man who's ending his career by leading his team to one of the world's biggest events and who brought his team to victory in 1998.
No matter what the other guy said to him, he should have kept his cool, played it out to the end and scored the first penalty kick, leading the way for his team. Michael Jordan ended his career(the first time) by keeping it cool, leading his team with a great attitude and scoring the game winning basket. At this point Zidane may want to be like Mike.
